Review of Biutiful (2010) by Robyn M — 06 Aug 2012
"Biutiful is shocking, terrifying and shattering.".
Javier Bardem is a marvel caught in a spiderweb of conception, fear and drama.
Biutiful takes a hard look at the underground world of immigration, drugs and illegal gambling and along for the ride Bardem refuses to fall while standing. Nominated for Best screen play and actor in forigen film. Directed and Written by: Alejandro González doesn't disapoint but takes a small setback with a chalky fortelling the editing needed more smoothing out and delivering its main point across to the audience.
