Decent low budget vampire flick with a bit more beneath the surface. If you pay attention to the dialogue you understand that yes, the chick is a vampire, but she is also supposed to represent a bad relationship- one that drains the life out of a person. It's not subtle but still something you can miss if you just toss this off as a b-movie. There is more to it. Erica Cox plays the manipulative but extremely attractive vampire and Mewes continues to prove he can work sober and work well- man may never be an Oscar winner but he is talented. Not the greatest vampire movie ever, but clocking it at around an hour and twenty minutes a decent little watch and sure as hell beats the fuckin Twilight 'vampires'.
