This is a taught, body-shock horror that thematically addresses the dangers of vacationing in exotic places when you're having doubts about your imminent marriage and it's resulting pregnancy. It is well paced, the script is fine (acting a little ropey) and the special effects are great.

The music is also top notch and the ending delivers well. I find the low critic scores and lack of user scores a bit strange.
