An interesting chronicling of the incarcerated life of Robert Stroud. Lancaster is great, but apparently extremely off with his portrayal.... by all accounts, Stroud was a horrid man with no remorse and who was never rehabilitated.
.. unlike the sympathetic man immortalized here. If the film was tightened up a bit to remedy its length, it could rank a tad higher. Definitely a good watch... but most likely only once.
