[i]Birdman of Alcaltraz[/i] is definitely underrated. The acting in this film is brilliant. The movie is strikingly photographed and excellently directed prison drama about a convict, Robert Franklin Stroud, and his passion for his birds and his mother.
Flawless performances and a moving script make this a classic and one of Burt Lancaster's greatest on-screen appearances.
