Excellent story with some very good, credible acting. Was even more enjoyable in the fact that we just visited Alcatraz and so knew some of the stories spoken about. I enjoyed Lancaster's role and also thought the way the actors aged as the years went on was very good and well before it's time (this was made in '62).
