Review of Billy Liar (1963) by David N — 24 Aug 2007
Terrific fun from the British "new wave", combining the kitchen sink with the fantastic imaginings of Billy's world of Ambrosia. Lot of laughs, lot of commentary on early 60s Britain, and severe eye-candy in the form of Julie Christie.
A good evening's movie watching.
