Okay, this movie just rocks. It is so original and out there, how could anyone not like it? This is probably my favorite Kurt Russell role and he just owns this movie. His banter with Kim Cattrall is awesome too. Speaking of, I doubt she has ever looked more gorgeous than in this film.
I loved all the concepts of the bad guys, and James Hong as Lo Pan is a visual treat: especially when he's in the form of the old man.
The effects still hold up today, and on Blu-Ray look rather fantastic, especially all the lightning effects.
It leaves you begging for more, which I can't say for many movies today. It may have an odd title, but it is one of the best adventure films period!
