Review of Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (2011) by Lee T — 24 Mar 2011
Let me just first start off by saying that I think the screenwriter died halfway through filming and a decent one took over for the second half of the film. I was laughing at the dialogue when the film started and it was filled with slapstick, but the film finally settled down and became worth watching.
Not only did I come to enjoy Brandon T. Jackson as a girl, but the last 30 minutes of the film is actually one of the best moments in the trilogy! Big Momma's: Like father, like son definitely does bring a slight more jazz than the second instalment, but it just does not match it's original (Mrs.
Doubtfire!!!). These films will always be a rip-off to me, but enjoyable ones. However, they should definitely stop now, before I find a reason to hate them!
