Tim Burton once agains pulls off a stylistic film interwoven with social commentary. Though there are definitely aspects of Big Eyes that the film could been better without, it is consistently intriguing in its plot, characters, and aesthetic.
This exceptional story succeeds in refreshing Burton's recent work.
