Review of Big Daddy (1999) by Farron K — 31 May 2015
A decent Adam Sandler movie, one that I virtually worshiped in Grade 6. I would watch it literally every night as I went to bed. Such is the state of things when one is a tween boy who laughs at pee jokes.
At any rate, Sandler is his usual wastrel self until his girlfriend leaves him and he decides to win her back by adopting a kid who just happens to show up at his door. The expected antics ensue, wherein Sandler dresses up as a scuba diver, the kid pukes all over the floor, they piss on buildings, and so on.
Not really much in terms of laughs to be had for anyone whose taste in comedy rises above grade-school schadenfreude, but an interesting watch if you're wondering what a standard Adam Sandler movie looks like.
