Review of Big Daddy (1999) by Robwinz — 07 Aug 2020
Big Daddy is honestly an underrated gem. The plot is alright, it's pretty much about this guy called Sonny (Adam Sandler) who's this very lazy lad and he's not in the best sort of relationship.
So when a five year old boy ends up at his door, he decides to take care of the boy who's called Julian (Cole Sprouse) so he can try and win his girlfriend back.
Weirdly enough, when he starts to look after Julian, they both start to grow a good bond with each other.
The acting from all the cast throughout this movie is actually pretty decent, the same goes with the dialogue too.
Also, there's a lot of funny moments throughout this movie, which work very well and a lot of them made me laugh in some sort of way.
The movie's even got a great soundtrack which features such artists as The Wiseguys, Big Audio Dynamite and many more.
There's a few moments throughout this movie, which don't make much sense or they don't link up to much.
Overall, Big Daddy is an underrated gem. It's got an interesting plot, pretty good acting, lots of funny moments throughout and a great soundtrack.
