Impressive as a demo reel. Too derivative and conceptually inconsistent to be an avant-garde work, and too superficial and incoherent as a narrative. If you like the style of Argento, Kubrick, and early Cronenberg without any of the substance and paced as deliberately as a Bela Tarr film you might like this.
Interesting this came out about the same time as Enter the Void and Tree of Life, but I found this the least coherent and compelling of the three.
