Review of Beyond the Black Rainbow (2010) by David M — 01 Nov 2015
A hallucinogenic mind trip straight out of the midnight b reels of the 70s. The story, if you can call it that, is something about a sorta cult who through drugging are controlling and utilizing those with psychic type powers. Regardless, see the movie for the stunning photography and art design. The angles,.
Lighting, and photography are absolutely astonishing, as is the score. Maybe watch it on mute. You'll be hypnotized by the slow paced movie, that is more interested in a dilating eye than a character. It's hyper detail, just the type of acid trip you've been waiting for.
