This film will either seem like an interminable slog or a fascinating sensory experience.
Beyond the Black Rainbow constantly straddles the line between deliberately restrained and deathly slow, so interested viewers able to keep from nodding off will be rewarded with a notion of having experienced something pretty damn cool if they can stick it out through the end.
