Review of Beware! The Blob (1972) by ♥Cookie Monster & — 27 Jul 2008
Ace, seventies film, full of quirky and eccentric characters - it seems the more the Blob devours people, the stranger they become. This is a film filled with references to hippies and the beat generation, and is in it's own way a throwback to the sixties .
. but as a horror film, it has it's failings. The Blob for one is little more than a glove puppet .. still it had it's moments.
