Review of Beware! The Blob (1972) by Betty T — 10 Apr 2008

I didn't realise this was a sequel movie when I bought it and it doesn't particularly feel like one. I mean, the first three or so minutes are just shots of an adorable, ginger kitten. The kitten is pretty much the first meal of the blob but you'd have to expect that.

Beware! THE BLOB has pretty much everything you'd want from the seventies, a man who was a tent inside his house, hippies, asshat hippies that steal gas and unhelpful lawmen. Nobody even knew what the fuck the blob was, which was mildly entertaining.

If you want to see how horror started it's slow steps towards being a sexdeathfest, then this may at least explain a few things.
