Review of Berberian Sound Studio (2012) by Alan L — 27 Apr 2013
Wonderfully original, beautifully paced and perfectly composed. Intriguing, humourous, nightmarish and baffling. Quite unique. Toby Jones is great as a meek British sound engineer, a fish out of water, thrown into the world of mixing and creating sound effects for a sadistic Italian horror film.
Fans of 70s gialli will get a special thrill out of watching, or rather listening to this.
