Review of Berberian Sound Studio (2012) by Jussi M — 07 Oct 2014

I had heard some good reviews of this so I checked it out, it does a good job of establishing a claustrophobic uneasy feeling, as the whole thing pretty much takes place at the sound studio, and there's several hints that something wrong is going on, however nothing at all comes of it, it's just creepy scenes with no pay off, the whole final third is just a mess, it does have some eerie scenes yes and captures the dialogue of the old giallo films well, but is very lacking in the story department.
