I can say that this movie won't be for most people. If you know your legends, mythology, history, and epic tales ... and you're well read, this movie will bring to life the Beowulf and Grendel characters.

Nice movie! The imagery was astounding, and I sat stunned by many scenes. Raw. Powerful. And of course, no one else could have played the character as well as Gerard Butler. I think I like this guy. :-).
