I think this take on Beowulf & Grendel was okay. It lacks the ability of drawing you into the show and you are instead just an observer. It had a lot of potential to make you feel for the characters, such as Grendel, or Hrothgar, but character depth was never explored.
I do like Gerard Butler though!
