Review of Beowulf & Grendel (2005) by Martin S — 18 Jul 2008
Not as good as the 3D-animated take a couple years later, but still an interesting version of the classic myth. Of course, this version of Grendel's mother doesn't quit match the pseudo-realism teh director claims he was going for, and it lacks an epic Beowulf Vs.
Dragon fight, but Grendel's pretty badass here.
