I am a avid Ben Hur fan saw the movie when I was 6 years old. I went in to see the remake with low expectations. I thought the movie was very good, stayed somewhat to the original story line, but they made it their own.
Special effects were great. I was only disappointed when they referred to Judha in the gallies as 61 instead of your eyes are full of hate 41.
