Surprisingly good, even better than the original. A lot of the story element were actually much better than the original, as though they improved upon it and closed up any plotholes.
The CGI is extremely good too and properly placed in the scenes so it doesn't turn this into a CGI movie. I also like how they weaved more of the Christ element into the story, like the Passion of the Christ.
