Ben-Hur was a film that was spectacular in its own right and did not deserve such an awful and lifeless remake such as this. Ben-Hur Rebooted is a boring drag that features such talent as Morgan Freeman and Jack Huston, who sadly fall under a script wrapped with cringy dialogue.
Sprinkle some horrific CGI and you have a disaster. The fights and brutality don't add up to what the original gave us. The chariot races lack depth that might have made for an entertaining climax. This one is a mess.
