Cinematic epic glory and a must-see for all Christians by the fact it defined Biblical epic. Even to this day, the famous chariot race is still breathtaking and no other modern day action sequences can surprass it (no special effects used).
Charlton Heston's role as Judah Ben-Hur is flawless (Oscar win), it has an influential score by Miklós Rózsa (Oscar win), so many eye-popping uses of color (more Oscar wins), and of course it even won Best Picture.
