Review of Ben-Hur (1959) by Scott W — 06 Feb 2017
The cinematography is often impressive in this epic film. There are some really spectacular sets. The story is a good one, but the movie does drag at times. I would be lying if I didn't say that it was a little boring.
I did like that Jesus was not shown on screen out of respect. It actually helped make the film more powerful. (First and only viewing - In my mid-twenties).
