Review of Ben-Hur (1959) by Hollis O — 17 Dec 2016
The sets, costumes, and camerawork in this film are mind-blowing. Heston and Boyd play beautifully off of one another, and film keeps you glued, even at a whopping 220 minutes of runtime. The only thing that brings down the quality, is your typical hamming of 50s Hollywood.
