Review of Belle de Jour (1967) by Elsimondark E — 25 Jun 2009
Its amazing to come across such movies which show the inner struggle faced by the lead female character. Catherine Deneuve is beautiful as ever and plays a very complex character in this movie. I enjoyed the way Luis Bunuel subtley blended reality with Severine's fantasy.
It is her fantasy that helps her overcome her fears in reality. I can watch this movie over and over and over...
