Review of Belle de Jour (1967) by Nix V — 07 Nov 2010
A beautiful, virginal woman married to a handsome doctor becomes a part-time prostitute. This is interspersed with dream or fantasy sequences, so that by the end you are not sure what is real and what is fantasy.
Up until the end I found this a little disappointing, but the end brought it all together for me. Five stars.
