Review of Belle (2013) by Jessica C — 23 May 2014
Such an important film, great story! Costumes are superb, enjoyed the poetic script. It's not over done and it's not a 'black movie'. It's a movie about dignity, love, justice, social restraints, money/class and marriage too.
It'll inspire you, make you uncomfortable and if you're human tug at the heart strings a bit...and with absolutely no cheese involved. Bravo.
