Review of Before Sunset (2004) by Ritchie G — 08 Jan 2011
As both superb leads grow older in character from the prequel, the stupendous notion of Romantic love got amplified, as well as the time-constrained exploration of missed connections, 2nd chances in life, the universe, fixations of social norms, as well as a host of other conversationalistic themes.
This whilst keeping the core that sparked the understated magic in the original, you can really feel for the leads, as if they were truly (in a non typical Hollywood fashion), madly , deeply meant for each other.
And as the credits roll, the parallels with the beginning got me thinking, and I choose to believe in the female interviewer.
