Review of Before Midnight (2013) by Nickthecritick — 24 Apr 2022
A little less than twenty years after their first meeting, in 1995 in Vienna, and about ten after their second, in 2004 in Paris, we see again Jesse and Celine, now 41, confronting each other verbally in Greece.
This film definitely doesn't feel the weight of the first two and turns out to be the most mature and most successful of the trilogy. Less cheesy and more true undoubtedly.
