I was expecting to like Emma Watson as Belle, but in the first minute of the movie, she starts to sing, and you can hear the auto tune they had to use on her voice to make it sound ok. It was THAT obvious.

This trend of casting big name actors in musicals just for the billing disgusts me. There's a thousand broadway actresses who could have done that part a million times better. I would much rather have watched the movie with some no-name actress with a fantastic singing voice.

However, Luke Evans as Gaston was fantastic and Josh Gad as Le Fou was funny, too. They kinda saved the movie. I did also like that they added in a few more songs. I would watch it again, but fast forward through every scene where Emma Watson is singing.
