Review of Beauty and the Beast (2017) by Alejandro C — 29 Aug 2018

I know that Disney is going the route of these live action updates to capture a new generation of kids, but I haven't seen any that are especially good. This one just felt like there was something missing.

It's reasonably entertaining but I felt disconnected through most of it. I have been critical of Emma Watson's singing voice, but she actually sounded pretty good in Something There. It's not a bad movie, it just doesn't have the same impact as the original.
