I liked the animated one. Some how this movie manages to pay lip service only to that original, while failing to set itself apart in any meaningful way, yet be utterly dull to watch in comparison.
The characters are dull and forgettable, and their performance is down right cringe inducing. Even the musical numbers tend to be lacklustre.
