I gave it two stars for couple reasons: great portrayal of a "day in the life" of the upper social class, and the way it handles the highly unlikely inclusion of a lower class person into a private elite inner circle.

The stark social differences of money, class, and personalities are well defined. A big thumbs down for making a mockery of Beatriz's character by playing her as unstable and flaky with an off-balanced mental state.

Her weird stares and habit of interrupting conversation to insert out of place monologues and indelicate comments would not be accepted in any social situation, rich or poor. Sort of like the family member who makes everyone uncomfortable because they're going to say something inappropriate or make rude noises.

So I don't know if the movie was supposed to be a suicidal Mexican immigrant slasher film, or a candid look at those people who live in the mansions behind the security gates. Because they played that almost to oblivious perfection, except way kinder than reality.
