This movie was life. It showed a little girl's moment of maturity. The cold moment when you stand up to your fears and become a member of the world.

Using amazing soundtracks and a real-life feel, Beast of the Southern Wild made you forget you were watching a movie. It made you feel you were in it's world. And although the metaphors can send you spinning, you can almost feel a relatable touch.

It's a movie too deep for you to understand in one watch. It is a movie that must be rewatched to be understood. And I think you must take this movie in. Even though it's different.

But as every movie watcher must do, especially Christ followers, you must have a strong grasp on your worldview when watching a movie where it's worldview is blatant and strong.

To wrap this up, this is not a popcorn movie. It's one that you should watch over warm pasta and wine.
