Review of Beasts of the Southern Wild (2012) by John D — 20 Feb 2017
Beasts of the Southern Wild is a decent film. It is about six-year-old Hushpuppy who must learn the ways of courage and love as her father's health declines. Quvenzhané Wallis and Dwight Henry give good performances.
The screenplay is enjoyable but a little slow in places. Benh Zeitlin did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama.
