Review of Beaches (1988) by Allison S — 15 Oct 2008
Deemed a 'chick flick' I would rather call iit a quintesential movie of the power of friendship. I think the casting was bang on, and the music perfect right down to Otto Titsling. Mayim did an awesome young CC Bloom, and Bette and Barbara fit into the roles wonderfully.
Oh, and of course the theme song is a powerful one.
