Review of Beaches (1988) by Shawn W — 30 Apr 2017

Journey through the life of a self-centered woman and her best friend. We get a lot of highs and lows through her singing and acting career as well as her personal relationships. Runs on for around two hours, far too long to invest in Midler's character since she plays a woman you often wouldn't want in your life.

Does salvage a bit towards the end but too much of a roller-coaster relationship for me.
