Review of Beaches (1988) by Ashley H — 29 Jan 2015
Beaches is a funny film. It is about a privileged rich debutante and a cynical struggling entertainer who share a turbulent, but strong childhood friendship over the years. Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey give incredible performances.
The screenplay is well written. Garry Marshall did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and music. Beaches is a must see.
