Review of Be Kind Rewind (2008) by Matthew J — 21 Sep 2012
A little slow to open, but once you figure out where the main characters are coming from, and the story moves along, it really is a great film. The only part not believable is what starts off the film that happens to Jack Black's character.
Even though it does set the movie in a funny sort of way. When they start to make Sweded movies, that is where the laughs start, making movies based on what they remember from the films, with their own quirks added to the original plots.
The Swede process will have you laughing, but the ending will bring you back home, and hoping for the best.
