Review of Be Kind Rewind (2008) by Andrew L — 07 May 2012
I went to this movie with fairly low expectations, and at the start I was worried they would be met after a completely unnecessary conversation between Jack Black, Danny Glover, and Mos def, that left me thinking "Oh great, it's going to be like this?".
I wound up being pleasantly surprised.
I don't generally go for Jack Black films, but I thought he was genuinely funny, and the whole movie from start to finish was low key, yet still fun to watch. And let's face it, who hasn't wanted to remake their favorite movies themselves for the fun of it as a kid?
