Review of Battleship Potemkin (1925) by Robert P — 11 Oct 2010

A monument to collectivism, Sergei builds a story based largely around shots of massed groups taking action against individual tyrants, with virtually no individual characterization. This movie is the purest antidote to Hollywood blockbusters.
