Review of Battle Royale (2000) by Nathan T — 02 Jan 2013
Every now and then a film comes along that realy makes you think. A film that puts you in the position of the characters on screen and asks "What would you do?" Battle Royale is probably the most effective film of this type that I've seen.
On top of being one of the ebst action films I've seen, it's themes and scenario linger in the mind and really get you contemplating what you would do in such a situation. The film is also very well written and acted.
Tatsuya Fujiwara makes a relatable hero and Takeshi Kitano absolutely kills it ans the teacher orchestrating the whole deal. An excellent picture that should be seen by everyone. My top 10: #6.
