Review of Battle of the Bulge (1965) by Robert C — 19 Aug 2007
Well this has Robert Shaw in it which is usually enough on it's own - but this is actually a very good movie. You need to get past the fact that Belgium appears to have suddenly become mountainous and covered in sand, and that all the military hardware is from the 60s, but if you do then you will find an excellent movie underneath.
It does all the things that you'd expect from a 60s war movie - shows heroism, integrity, comradeship etc - and has a great cast and enough action to keep you interested. Definitely worth watching.
