A damn good adaptation of the graphic novel. They push the subject matter to be geared more towards adults with prostitution and a city full of corrupt cops. The story follows Gordon more than it does Wayne's transition into the Bat which is great.
It dating the sequences specifically makes everything very interesting to me as well; seeing the changes that occur throughout the time span. Great Cartoon. Hope for more...The Killing Joke, please.
