Review of Batman: Year One (2011) by David M — 02 Oct 2014
Faithful to Frank Miller's 1989 Graphic Novel but clever enough to stand alone from it and apart from BATMAN BEGINS. They chose well when they cast BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston to voice Jim Gordon.
It's through Gordon's eyes and his inner monologue that we see Gotham before his rise to power and just as that crazy guy in a bat suit shows up. Another DCU winner from the folks at Warner Animation.
