The batman movie we were all waiting for. The son, who loses his parents in an act he feels responsible for, is driven by anger and obsession to purge all that haunts him, bouncing between the extremes of morality: willingness to kill and then unwillingness to kill ever.
Complex, well fleshed out and yet still mysterious, this is the definitive batman for the many generations to come.
